We're about to begin work on a large enterprise application. There has been a buzz around Code Generators and Object Relational Mapping Tools. The idea of taking an existing database model and automagically building the data access teir and more, is hard to pass on. We are looking at the following tools:
EntityBroker http://www.thona-consulting.com/content/products/entitybroker.aspx
LLBLGen Pro http://www.llblgen.com
Deklarit http://www.deklarit.com
Objectz.NET http://www.mongoosesolutions.com/
WilsonORMapper http://www.wilsondotnet.com
Gentle.NET http://sourceforge.net/projects/gopf
Pragmatier Data Tier Builder http://www.urbantalk.se/dc/default.asp
Dado Database Mapper http://dadosolution.com/
eXpress Persistent Objects for .NET http://www.devexpress.com/?section=/products/NET/XPO
Orm.net http://www.olero.com/OrmWeb/index.aspx?mp=caleb
Prevayler for .NET http://www.codeproject.com/dotnet/ObjectPrevalenceWithBambo.asp

Its a great idea, whose time has come I think. I'm just not sure it is ready for prime time, yet.
I was hoping maybe someone has some first-person accounts and experiences to share.
One interesting thing is Deklarit will work with SQL CE! So far, LLBLGen Pro is in the lead.
